You know what? You don't even have to DO anything to these people. So say like when I first meet someone online, they wouldn't be mean to ME in particular. They'd just warn me not to "Get on their bad side because I won't like it when they're angry...blah blah..." or "I'm so terrifying, fear me!" My first impression of that person would be that they're cowardly and insecure. They're scared of getting hurt by you so they make sure that people know their 'place' when first talking to them.
