Tropical Traditions organic, free range chicken is pastured on green Wisconsin summer grasses and raised by small family farmers. A network of small farms and Wisconsin farmers raise this free range chicken for you and ensure that the chicken are actually out on pasture, not simply given access to a chicken yard as is the case in many operations. When chickens are on pasture, they eat grasses, weeds, and bugs which then improve the fatty acid profile of the chicken itself. The dark meat of the chicken in particular, which is higher in fat naturally, also contains more of the beneficial Omega 3 fats and less of the unhealthy Omega 6 fatty acid.
Chickens do tend to be healthier when they are supplemented with some feed, however. To support their health and the health of consumers, our chickens are raised on feed that is both free of soy and of genetically modified grains. Our feed is called "Cocofeed" and includes coconut pulp and certified organic grains, certified free of genetically modified organisms (GMO).
Our chickens are processed in the summer while pasture grasses are still lush. We store them in a very cold deep freeze which ensures high-quality meat when you buy free range chicken online. The chicken is packed with dry ice and express shipped to you to ensure freshness.
The taste of the chicken is exquisite, particularly following the instructions on our website for ensuring a rich and tender chicken. Our website includes instructions on cooking chicken for those seeking to buy free range chicken. Explore the resources and buy pastured chicken through the link below.

@Adrungo We encourage our customers to work with a local source if possible, though it is difficult to find hens fed a soy free ration. (This is why Tropical Traditions developed Cocofeed.) The eggs are shipped in warm summer months via 2nd Day or overnight. In the cold winter months refrigeration is not required in transit since it is cold outside and on the trucks. They are not stored in heated areas or heated trucks. Please feel free to visit the link above to our site!

My question is, how do the eggs not go bad during shipment? I'm up here in MA. Do you work with farms in the North East or have any recommendations of anyone up here that may be more realistic is delivering fresh meat, eggs ect ect? I'm on a mission to find eggs that are from Soy free Hens.
