Wakeboarding Winch More or less finished. Enough for testing. Just has to warm up. Sounds like it is running a little rich.

I am looking to buy a winch, but i do not want a really expensive one, does anyone know where i can get a pretty cheap one?

@brodie1709 that is debatable, i built a winch using an engine from a small eurpean car , it was a 3 clylinder with a gearbox and clutch , it was so good while it lasted , i the used the same engine in a gokart :)

@fergfergferg123 hondas cost more than twice as much than these clones, and the clones will work just as good as a honda minus life span.

I would also increase the tension on the governor spring so it can rev higher.

yeah, replace that engine with a hond , they will last so much longer, try using a different air filter, and change the exhaust, will get it up to 8 hp, I build engines and a flywheel before the clutch with help the torque when starting :)
