  • I open my window and freeze to death just to hear this at night. :)

  • Two adult owls, VERY rare to see (or hear) outside the nesting season. A couple of years ago I was lucky enough to get a close up and personal look at a baby Tawny Owl that had typically jumped the nest too early and was unable to fly. I know they grow into predators, but as a baby it was nothing short of adorable! Like a big grey powder puff

  • yes, two, a male (hoots) and a female (kewicks). if this was some time in march or up to the time video was posted it's likely that the female was on the nest and the male was bringing food -- this is how they call each other at that time. mid-april is average egg hatch time.

  • Theres two owls...I here the continues hooting every night. and i think the long hooting is either the male or a differnt owl?
