The Getaway (PS2) - Real Life Trailer

This is a real life trailer for the video game The Getaway. The trailer was shown on the internet and in cinemas as well as even appearing on television in late 2002 around the same time the game was about to be released. The guy in the video is Don Kembry who also played Mark Hammond in the actual game. The trailer shows Hammond crashing a car, stealing another one and being chase by some gang members from either the Bethnal Green Mob or the Collins gang. Hammond crashes the stolen car at the end and tries to flee on foot but is attacked by the gang members who beat him up.

@BritishPoliceMods Sadly no even though there was talk of them making one. The third game is still due to be released by the end of this year on December 11th 2012 (10 years after the original). If the game turns out to be a success then a movie could still be made.

@TheGetawayPro Wow! If Getaway 3 is releasing on December 11th this year (supposedly 10 years exactly after this one was released) then I reckon in similar tradition to GTA III. It should get a 10 year anniversary edition but a HD remake of it for the PS3, not an iOS port like GTA III got. Although that would be cool if Sony somehow could port the game and get it to run on the iPad like Rockstar did with GTA III.

I'm amazed that after all these years people still play and love The Getaway series. That's how you know what makes a good game! Nowadays games are just waste, thrown away after a week or so, but not games like these PS2 classics. MGS and The Getaway are still going at it!
