Mate, get over yourself. "Someone else" is Ludovico Einaudi, a famous composer who's been writing music since before Sigor Ros were born. The openings of both songs are similar but there are a finite number of notes and chords and its not that uncommon for 2 songs to sound alike. Hardly a "rip off". Take a chill pill and enjoy the music.

So this is one of my favorite pieces ever, but i can't find anything else composed (played?) by just sveinsson. I'm thirsting for more. Can anyone point me in a direction where I can find more of his stuff? And yes, I already have everything by sigur ros and jonsi.

Did you look for Kjartan "Kjarri" Sveinsson under the pseudonym "The Lonesome Traveller"? Did you listen to band Fanfarlo, Sigur Rós friends?
