What about retrogaming? I really don't see the DC as being "retro". For me, retrogaming stops at 16 bit. DC is only about 10 years old, and is certainly no different than modern gaming.

retro gaming is all in the mind man. The DC is a dead system, it's a decade old. That's retro. Retro means different things to different people and you're never going to please everyone's idea of retro. I should know, I've been running RG for other 3 years now.

i have seen a few dreamcast reviews from you of 'poor' games. What about games that made the Dreamcast worth buying! I bought a Dreamcast, but have played no games on it as I don't know which are the best. I never liked Tomb Raider, in my experience you would spend ages trying to figure out which wall you can climb on.

Are you calling this game lame because you suck at remembering the control keys? There, go to one of them 2 menus, game settings, and then you can choose any of three control configurations that suits you the best. You're just spoiling your fun by whining about the control methods; games always have more to them than this. I've not played a single game (yet) that does not have less than 4-5 control keys (jump, attack, grab an item etc.) - you will get used to those.

You're playing this game on the Dreamcast, that's your problem with the controls. Not that they were perfect on the PS1, the DC's fugly controller is missing buttons which this game needs. The series hit a highlight with this release among TRUE Tomb Raider fans. It focused once again on tombs for the vast majority of the game and is quite hard and challenging. A sign when games of the day challenged the player with clever level design, can't say the same for Tomb Raider today.

I only got my Dreamcast a week ago and this came with it, I played it for the first time today and all I can say is the controls are a fucking disaster zone. I never got past the rope swing just after the end of this video it was just too much.

@RetroGamerDaz Of the five original Tomb Raiders released ('96-'00) Tomb Raider (4): The Last Revelation was my least favourite, TR 1 was my favourite with TR 3 being a close second.

man u suck big time.why dont u go play tetris?tomb raider the last revelation is the greatest in the tomb raider series.i used to play it on psx,dreamcat and pc.a nd dreamcast version is much better in all the ways than psx.the pc is of course the best.but it suks that lara has her own sheadow only on dc version.onpc and psx not.but pc has has the coolest graphics.im playing it just now after some years on my full hd monitor and it still rocks

@SuperhumanChichi thanx man. i think the reason why the dreamcast version was scored the lowest is cause it came out after the ps1 and pc version, therefore critics had already played the game & didn't give a shit, aw well. also what version of tomb raider chronicles would u recommend i get (i heard the pc version has god-aweful bugs so unless it has an update forget it)?
