This man was a hero of mine in my youth, both on Star Trek, and on Reading Rainbow. It was amazing to watch someone I knew had the same love of books I did- and he could be one of the main reasons I am an engineer today!

I hope that Community comes back soon and LeVar Burton is an english teacher and Troy fails the class because he's crippled in the presence of LeVar Burton. That should keep the writers in business for at least 6 seasons and a movie. Writers of Community, you're welcome.

Well-advised choice for keynote speaker. He has a remarkably *human* quality in the way he communicates professionally; this is something that's generally lacking in most people on a stage, at a dais, in front of a camera, etc. He doesn't talk, he *engages*.
