You guys are all idiots. By "SHOULD have been a goal" he means to say that 999/1000 that puck goes in the net.
However, this time, an amazing save prevented the puck from going in at the last second. He isnt saying it was a goal, or that he got cheated and by rule he should have gotten the goal. He is saying that it should have in the sense that 99.9% of the time, it wouldnt have been able to be stopped.
