Dragonlance - Raistlin Majere

Okay, so it's been forever since I've done a video. This is due to the fact that our computer has been broken for well over a month, and we aren't living in the same house with it.

This is a very short vid about my favorite character from Dragonlance: Raistlin Majere. I did it in Windows Movie Maker on my laptop. I did it as a sort of "test video", as I have never used WMM before. So that's why it's so short.

Anyway, here it is. Just keep in mind that it's my first vid using WMM so it isn't terribly good. And the actual footage was taken from the cartoon "Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight" which doesn't have very good animation.

So I hope you enjoy my first WMM video! You can probably expect more WMM Dragonlance vids in the future! ;)

They made it into a 90 minute cartoon/animation. It is definately not the best, and tons of people hate it, but it might be enjoyable... maybe.

When I first became a Raistlin fan, I had no idea he had such a huge following Oo For me, I love his ruthless sense of necessity...and I generally don't pick out the magic users as favorites. He just has such an incredible sense confident dominance and control -- he knows what he wants and he's willing to do anything to get it.

I wasn't too impressed with the movie, either, but I hear they worked really hard on it. It probably doesn't help that it took such a long time :/

Raistlin rules in many ways, 1. He likes the littler people 2. he has magical powers 3.he cares for the weak (i mean plague, illness, etc), 4. He has magical powers 5. He likes power, who doesn't? 6 HE HAS MAGICAL POWERS!! sorry, but that would just be so cool.

He has golden colored skin due to a counterspell put on by fistandantilus to deflect a fireball cast by a dark elf during his test in the tower of...hey wait, oh shit i am a nerd!

...isn't his skin the wrong color? I thought it was supposed to be pale, metallic looking. He's tan in the movie?

@DerKaiser92 He is pure evil right from the start, but they give him the red (neutral) robe at first because they fear his power and the chaos he could bring if he served evil.

... But he eventually becomes a black robe and raises hell. Raistlin kicks ass.

@SilenceXCore I think of rasitlin as red, for undisclosed possible spoiler related reasons... well, I guess a bit of both colours... but anyhow, this movie was DREAFUL!!

My little brother's name is Raistlin. I think my dad got the name from Dragonlance.
