    You're right. Rock & Roll comes across poorly on television. It is best when live and loud.

    But "Live in Barcelona," filmed in late summer 2002, and released December 1, 2003, after 30 years of playing sold-out shows all over the world, is the first complete concert Bruce released.

    It captures what he is like live better than anything I've seen.

    Some prefer, Live in New York City, and it's very good, although not a complete show.

    But this is the benchmark. Check out Badlands in Barcelona.
