the important thing about fundamentalism is that any behavior or belief that forces the fundamentalist to compromise their core spiritual identities is not only rejected out of hand, but also causes the fundamentalist to reject the person behind the offending behavior or belief, to 'cast them out of the fold'.
in my opinion, this is a much bigger problem in wicca then the former dilemma that you discussed in your previous vid.

we see this in the btw traditionalist that refuses to acknowledge anyone not initiated into one of their own limited number of officially recognized traditions as being wiccan at all.
(i realize your vid is not solely directed specifically at wicca, its just that's what i am so that's what i can relate it to - i'm sure there are parallels among other pagan religions as well.)

I know a few individuals who are BTW's and refuse to accept modern Wiccans as actual. But, the number is declining as most modern teachings of Wicca don't include such attitudes. It IS a problem I've run into a few here and they have both gotten frustrated and condascending when I refused to stop self-identifying or agree with them. It's an attitude that is taken up in a defensive mode which they use against the fear of "dilution" that I mentioned. Pt 5 will reference it further.
