@uItravioIet you are right as Todd is well into his fifties now. I'm sure that he COULD have just stayed in Kauai relaxing and being 'retired' or just doing studio. But something movitates him to come out and do the whole 'WIZARD, A TRUE STAR' all over again! Why? Maybe to bring a new generation of devotees? Don't know. But I thought at the close of this song, he was going to lose it. But like you, I love watching the old concerts and remembering how young I was, back in the day!

Todd's voice is still strong, he's always been on the fringe, with a 'cult' following as they say - count me among the cult since 1967. I do NOT however, understand this 'cape'. perhaps it comforts him? As with all true artists, behavior is not easily understood. He is also an actor in his concerts, so perhaps this has something to do with 'purple' and perhaps he is simply exhausted, maxed out emotionally...
