Bardot is possibly more beautiful, but I got to kiss Marianne, so I'm biased. Beautiful snippet from Godard's lesser referenced films.

@blechtman she is danish, she ran away from home and went to paris, she learned to speak french watching films, married godard after the filming of the little soldier, divorced him before they shot pierrot le fou, then godard went on to make political films and video-essays, and then cinema again, I prefer his later work,

I love the tune, and love the quiet intensity of the scene... Marianne Faithfull is so vulnerable here, and so free at the same time, though it seems to be a sad kind of freedom, bordering on madness... Its all so beautiful and real.

must be before the chain smoking days... I seen her live in the 80s and she was chain smoking... literally lighting up from the previous but the whole show... She was coughing the whole time too... so sad but so powerful at the same time.
