Augh! In Win 7, clicking a window preview from the task bar bumps the window to the foreground. I think that is what users expect when a full-screen preview appears with the window In The Foreground.
What is the point of MINIMIZING when the user expresses interest in a specific window?

Aha! Do you have an MS Windows partition and/or an Ext NOT '4' filesystem on your hard drives? With a Live CD you can check the failing File system and /Boot/Grub->grub.cfg to begin with.

Well i did all that but when i rebooted, there was a kernel panic and wont boot... at all.

Just to let you know. KDE3 had tooltip previews in 2002 if you used Kasbar. It was not default but still click-able running task with previews.
