A 17 km stretch from Shivpuri to Lakshman Jhula in Rishikesh, India takes you through 9 rapids which range from grade 1 to grade 4. An awesome combination of chilled water at 5 degrees, beautiful white sand river beaches, a jaw dropping lineup of Kumaon mountains and the feeling of dipping in the holy waters of Ganga!

Hi, Ankit,
i'm too thinking of going to RIshikesh.
We've never done this before & we're group of two people, is it necessary to bring 4 people for raft? Also was there any pro among you riding?
Do they allow this sport for curious tourists/ first timers for one or half day? (dont wanna spend DAYS.... )

Rishikesh is also a great spot for river rafting. Its quite interesting and adventurous activity.
