I LOVED the girl with the dragon tattoo - I agree it shouldn't be remade in the usual American hero bullshit way...leave somethings as they are...brilliant in the first place and Kristen Stweart shouldn't even have played Bella let alone Lisbeth... the woman who plays her in the original is AMAZING!

I think if she was cast to play The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (which i also think this movie shouldnt be remade) I'd cry my eyes out. Kristen Stewert cannot possibly play as lisbeth,that role is a very powerful role,Kristen is only good at (judging from her films) playing as a angsty disturbed speechless confused girl.

I am striving to be an actress and it unnerves me to see actress who don't belong in the spotlight there and yes, Kristen can act in certain roles, but they are roles when she's being Kristen. The Joan Jett bit I kind of disagree on though. That was the one movie where I could actually stand her acting.
