There are a total of 3 cameras on each SRB; one towards the front of the SRB looking toward the aft end of the SRB., one mounted towards the aft end of the SRB looking forward (this video is from that camera) and one mounted towards the front looking radially from the SRB. The video is not transmitted. It is recorded on a solid state video recorder mounted in the foward section of the SRB. The video is downloaded from the from the recorder after the SRB is towed back to Kennedy Space Center.
