david tennant at the stage door. 10/01/09

It was David's last night in "Hamlet" and we waited to meet him at the stage door. By the time he came out there were more than 250 people waiting. His security had advised him not to come out but he did anyway which once again reaffirms by thoughts of him being a lovely guy cos he didn't have to come out in the cold to be mobbed!

This clip shows how chaotic it was for him...he poses for a picture with a young girl and then comes over to our side. You can hear Lisa asking him a question and his reply....and I gave him a present which he then dropped haha. This video is courtesy of Emily :)

how the poor man doesn't suffer from any sort of fits or seizures is beyond me.the flashes from all the cameras were amazing. it looked like a bit of a rugby scrum, but at least you got up close.

Hehe i was here with you this night too. You can hear the bit from my video on here the crazed DT woman " DAAAVID" at 1.35, hehe. I can hear me say "thankyou david" towards the end. Hehe. As if he wouldnt let that girl ruffle his hair and he did on TV , tut tut David!

When i went to see Love's Labour's Lost in October it was the best day of my life!! I told David i love him and he said i love you too!! I was going to ask him to sign my converse and ruffle his hair but i'm glad i did'nt becasue i know i wouldn't get over it if he said no. But the best thing that could have happend happend anyway. :)

growing back the sideburns for doctor who! he didnt have them during the entire run I don't think. How lucky is that! I love hamlet but i'm here in Canada! We did have someone at our stratford from the RSC help with the Canadian production of it so it was supposed to be pretty good, but still, nothing like Tennant would have been, and with a recently operated on back to boot!
