I think youre vid was ok

If you look it up, Fords resale value went WAY up for 2010 models.

Maybe but it's also a shame Toyota didn't
address this issues sooner! #1 maybe but
if you're gas pedal is stuck and you crash,
it doesn't really matter. Shame on them for
not coming forth back when it really started
in 08.

We stopped buying American cars, few years now, you buy it from here, you lose 50% next year. how is that for an investment!

@Miradart agreed, plus one!!

All's I can say is that its a dog eat dog world out there and when you are in an industry that just went through a pretty tough year....I'm not the least bit surprised.
Everyone is in the running to be #1.

for those reading, i never said anything was wrong with toyota's quality. i just was just dropping some thought for someone who might be build an issue with the brand and aiming it at others who aren't involved. I do believe though that the interior of the camrys are a step down in quality from the last generation. i'm curious to see what happens for the redesign.

i still think Toyota is the best out there, period. It saddens me that Hyundai would do this, last week John reported that Ford & GM were offering incentives but that Hyundai resisted, i saw that as a very honorable move on Hyundai's behalf, & my respect for that company elevated even more so than it already had! But now Hyundai is headed in the same direction as Ford & GM, as far as this issue is concerned, i think thats just low & disgracefull of all three of them! Shame! Toyota is # 1!
John McElroy is (imho) the most evenhanded automotive journalist anywhere, on any show, or on any of the YT pseudo shows! He is just the perfect balance.
I hope Japanese media, AND Ford watch this vid.

I bought a 2009 4cyl Camry last year and have been really surprised at the problems I have had with the car. at 21k the rack and pinion had to be replaced, the rear speakers buzz terribly, the windshield clicks and pops over bumps. I have to admit I feel sometimes that the vehicle has an odd "disconnect" between the accelerator and the engine. Even before this "Throttlegate" thing happened I was seriously considering trading back to Ford, having always had great luck with Ford products.
