Not Just Any Summer Love *Chapter 13*

It was now August, and summer was slowly coming to a close. It was the day before Hailey had to leave for Connecticut. Nick was prepared to make it the best last day in California ever. But first, he had to wake her up.

"Hailes! Come on! Wake up!" Nick said while shaking her. "No." She groaned and put her head underneath her pillow. "Don't make me do something that I will think is funny and you will hate me for life." Nick said in a singsong voice. "Try me." She grunted. "Don't say I didn't warn you." Nick said. He picked up Hailey. Her stomach was on his shoulder, so her face was basically by his butt.

Nick walked outside. "Wait! I'm awake! Stop!" Hailey said as she hit his back. "Nope. That's okay." Nick said before throwing her into the pool. Good thing she didn't have anything white on, or else someone would have raging hormones at eight o' clock in the morning. "Nicholas Jerry Jonas!" Hailey screamed once she surfaced. She got out of the pool and walked closer to Nick. He started to back up.

"Hailey calm down, let's be rational about this." Nick said calmly. "Alright Nicholas. To solve things, you can give me a hug. Hailey held out her dripping wet arms and hugged Nick, making sure he got wet. "Great thanks Hailes, you're great girlfriend." Nick said sarcastically. Hailey punched him in the arm playfully.

"Now go get dressed, we have a long day ahead of us, Miss Albright." "Okay Mr. Jonas." Hailey laughed. She brushed her teeth, showered, got dressed, and put on some make-up. Once downstairs, Nick grabbed her and kissed her. He pulled away and Hailey put her forehead against his. "I love you." Nick said. "I love you too." Hailey said and kissed him one more time. They ate breakfast and started their long day of non-excusive fun.

At just three o' clock in the afternoon, they have already done many things. They walked around a park, swinged on swings, raced eachother, had laughing fits, ate ice-cream fast- which resulted in brain freeze, and went to the movies. "I have to say, out of all my days here, this is my favorite one of all." Hailey said while holding Nicks hand. They were window-shopping. "Mine too." Nick smiled.

After hours of random conversations, Hailey's last day of San Diego was coming to a close. She packed up her clothes and everything. Amanda and Hailey then watched a movie and reminisced on the time they had spent together. They were both going to miss eachother, but they had a whole new summer to look forward too.

'I hope we'll be friends forever, together we'll always be. I don't think you understand just how much you mean to me. And one day when we part our ways, we'll think back to the past and think about how happy we are 'cause our friendship will always last.'

my boyfried did that to me once ( throwing me in the pool when i wouldnt wake up)it was freezing!! but when he went to pull me up i pulled him in with me!! haha too bad i was wearing a white shirt * embarassing* luckily i was wearing a sports bra under cause otherwise...
