What an Ibanez Montage sounds like unplugged- note that the recording is not that hot and it does sound better up close.

The tune is based on Hank Williams Honky Tonk Blues.

For those interested the chords are E,A7,B7.

  • la guitarra increible.... el guitarra....

  • @ivanfa33 Sí, es fantástico

  • The recording I have here is the guitar "not plugged in". Between you and the recording , is the camera mic, the software I used to render the recording for youtube and youtubes proccessing of the file- the end result is, that my recording of the guitar sounds a little flat and at times twanger than it really is( such is mpeg and its Lossless recording methods aka "Digital audio Degeneration")

I strongly recomend that you test one out, before buying- a guitar has to feel right in YOUR hands

  • hey can you make a video of the montage without it being plugged in?

  • The Guitar is not amped in this video, this is how it sounds unplugged ;).

  • I'm not really sure, I have no played any of the others. I had a choice between the one I brought and the cedar model

  • i already know all its effects plugged in. but i want to know what is sounds like not plugged. its an amazing guitar man! its just i havent been able to play with it myself... wondering what its like just acoustic

  • whats the differance between woods on the Red Montage and the bursted montage like yours? i know red is flammed maple, and the orange is quilted maple, but what really is the differance?

  • I don't have the tab sorry, just start playing E, A7,B7 and it will come to you- do a little pull off on G# note of your E chord every now and then :)

  • Yes the guitar is unplugged; I really do recommend trying one out, and hearing it for yourself. I use a low end recording method, a Sony DCS P73 camera and edit the video using Microsoft movie maker.
