i think this production is brilliantly done. instead of having the singers going nuts trying to sing and run around, you have this wonderful imagery with the dancers. it's kind of like an upscale cirque du soleil ;)

After listening to so many versions out there, this version's Arriere! is still my favorite. The french is so smooth and crisp, and the tone is pleasantly light and colorful, with a vibrato that's not overdone like I feel with most others. Who's the singer, if I may ask?

Hayden and Vivaldi they are great but
they did not recognize when they started repeating.

I was there at the wordpremiere in the Netherlands with the ballet of Yiri Kilian.
I think this combination with Lorin Maazel
is the best ever and never will be improved.

Can anyone tell me what the picture is at 6:13? I see a woman (Princess? Fairy?) on the right but I cannot see what the figure is on the left.

It's a prince and a princess. When the picture comes apart, the real prince and princess pose in the same way as the ones in the picture.
