The C-XF Concept raised a few eyebrows when it was introduced at this years Detroit Motor Show, and Jaguar made it clear that it was not far removed from the production version. Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum explains why he decided the car should look the way it does, what ambitions directed him, what passion inspired him: The XF is a stage in a personal journey for me. Cars like the original XJ6 left a lasting legacy and my ambition has been to create something as seminal. The XF is that car.

Great job from Jaguar, I'm impressed... actually, I've decided to buy one by year's end.

This is about, yeah I get it. Hideous and conventional. Ford should stick with GT40s.
I want a D-type.

It's shit... I've driven around in loads of older xj's and xk's they're real jags. The latest xj and xk look similar in style to this and suck. Ford was pushing it with the revival of the s-type and well the xf is just a ford mondeo with japanese-jag-styling. Save yourself some gas money and buy a used xjr/xkr...
