@BigChevyFTW that's the problem with most of u american muscle fanboys,u're afraid to go outside the box n come up with something new.u guys do common thing n take pride in V8's,but when u get beat by a 4 cylinder,6 cylinder or an import,u start crying or stay quiet.idk about u,but I appreciate both domestics n imports.I give this guy props for going outside the box n doing something unique with his camaro.rotary engines are good as V8's.

First of all. from what i can see this car is'nt going as fast as it looks the car next to him is doing like 35 MPH so with him AWOT he might do 15 seconds in th 1/4 mile So, im not impressed at ALL. until this 2JZ engine can do 7.80's in the 1/4 in a 1st gen camaro. i'll stick with tried and true BBC which has dominated the tracks for over 40 years take that rice burners.

The jz series engines are indeed fast and reliabe but they will never possess the soul of the 8-shot thunder being hammered out the duel exhaust of a genuine motown big block Chevy, Ford FE side oiler, or Chryler Hemi. What would be fitting for the car would be say an 572 Chevy Rat with an aluminum Donovan BB prepped by Lingenfelter Engineering to the tune of about 800hp with prodigious gobs of earth moving torque, then if you wanna get ridiculous, turbo charge THAT.
