All is not well with the bath houses of Istanbul.

The ancient bath-houses of Istanbul are rapidly disappearing, as they fall prey to modern in-house bathrooms and changing taste. Many have been transformed into shops, and encased in concrete and glass, fully disguising their ancient past. With most bath houses now charging prices well beyond the means of the local population, they are fast becoming tourist attractions rather than community services...
This feature looks at the disappearing ancient Turkish tradition of the bath house, where traditionally people would go for a bath, a massage and a dose of revitalisation.

@TribeofShabazz ...TURKISH baths are for STRAIGHT men!! Trust me I went to one. But bathhouses in North America are different things where gay/bi/ and even straight guys (if intoxicated enough) will go. So if you have never been to a Turkish Bath House then please don't spread rumours.
