@MagnusLegatus You are obviously right. If I don't enjoy watching the OSU Band do the only formation they know over and over while playing the same two songs over and over, I have no idea what a good marching band looks like.

I've browsed through about thirty of these videos because I like college bands. But THE Ohio State University band plays "Hang on Sloopy" and "Across the Field," does the script Ohio and that's it. Pretty limited for the self-styled and obviously delusional Best Damn Band in the Land.

@bandgeekscreamer That's because Ohio State's school songs are good enough that people actually want to hear them every game unlike ou's.
Well if you're military style, you might as well be the best at it. Not try to be some kind of hybrid show band like ou.
And OSU band members can funnel their excitement into their performance instead of rolling around on the ground and complaining that they can't hug anyone for fear of getting their uniform "dirty" like ou.

@jibucks lol.. no.. all they do in this entrance is spell ohio.. they aren't even ohio, they are ohio state.
ohio university has a whole pregame SHOW they play multiple songs.. not just the fight song and alma mater... ohio state is too military style.. they look like they have to be there.. not like they WANT to be there...
