  • Is that a construction air compressor in the trailer? Wow, that's a lot of air!

  • Yes, it's rotary screw compressor usually used for jack hammers. I think it can put out up to 210 cfm, but the psi tops out at about 115 or so. Plenty for most air horns.

  • awesome k5la

  • Sweet K5LA! Although the 4A is slightly weak, and the 5 bell is dominating. Still a great horn none-the-less!

  • now all you need is an extra light on top and wig wag headlights and you'll be mistaken for a train. Beautiful K5LA

  • The 4A bell is weak, and there is the normal slight warble between the #1&5 bells. Fairly good minor third, but this horn would sound sweeter with an inlet restrictor, though I know Amtrak never used them! Nice K5LA Josh!

  • THAT is a great K5LA. KEEPER! Nice dominant 4A and 5 bell, with awesome octave. 5 bell is a bit more dominant than the 4A.
