@AaronfromWM Yes, I know that the solders of America's armed forces are more important than some ODing singer, I just wish that this world could see that the men and women that give their lives for their countries were given the recognition that they deserve, and earned, it's truly sad that the only thing people care about these days which pop star is going to OD next, I hate it when that happens. People have no respect for the solders that die so that we can listen to music and go on Youtube.

We all know that she died, but does anyone know about the Marines that were killed last week in Afghan, and werent even mentioned in the Local paper? maybe what they do isnt as important...I dunno I could be wrong.

@ndcouey70 True, most people care only about their self image, and it's true that most people feel like Drugs and stuff are a way to escape reality, but why would some one want to?

If you work hard to make your life something you have no reason to escape, you'll be a lot more likely to not want to escape it via drugs or alcohol. I agree it's sad and troubling to see someone who you would think had no reason to want to escape their reality, do so, but some people have issues with self image, other insecurities, or mental issues that they can't deal with sober. I'll generalize a bit and say that most creative people are not well grounded nor are they mentally stable.
