I don't agree with a women getting slapped, nor men getting slapped either...but different era's certainly had stereotypes. Traditional Japanese customs like this style exist, of course the younger generation will always evolve (at least some of them).

The 70's, yeah, another child of the 70's...I must say "That 70's Show" did a pretty fair take on life in that era... I was not really ready when DISCO hit in the late 70's...Bob Seger and I "Love that Old Time Rock N' Roll"!
