I love macaronic songs, and this is wonderfully sung. Thanks for putting this up- I never would have encountered the Highland Sessions if it weren't for the courtesy of those who have put it up on youtube.

Superb - I love this series - The Gaels of both cultures are a force of nature that isn't easily rivaled - There are historical changes between us of course and I despise the usual political commentry that comes with you tube - but it's obvious and plain that Eire agus Alba are the only living testiment today of a Celtic past - of course I stand to be corrected.

There's my old chum Neil Johnstone on the cello. I knew him when he had hair! He was the star cellist in the 3 orchestras I played in as a schoolboy. Good to see him carve out a trad niche for himself not common among cello players in my experience.
