Great video!
-
@monzaman3232 IT depends which way the wind is blowing. Planes always takeoff and land into the wind.

Yeah Tyee golf course is good too if you get on top of the hill! And this is soo funny because I'd go plane-spotting near that fence all the time and never saw any other plane spotters haha. NOW they show up! haha
And how on eath were you able to find out when the good planes would come? I'd go there and never see anything but Alaskas and Horizons!

The first spot is right in front of the tunnel under the farthest runway to the right. you can see it in the video as planes take off and land on that runway.

hey, I live near seattle and I would like to plane spot. Where is the best spot, and should I bring a ladder for a good view?

Hi. The best place to plane spot is on the South side of the airport. To get there, you have to take 188th and turn onto 16th ave which is just behind the south runways (the ones in the video.) Just park on the side of the road, and walk onto the sidewalk. You get a pretty good view without the ladder, but if you do want to get the very best view, and don't want the fence in your way for a couple seconds, i would suggest bringing one.

thanks. I just went last night. I spotted from the north, then I went to were you were standing. And I didnt know were to park. Can you park on 16th ave? P.S. When does seatac usally use runway 34, cuz they used 16 all last night.

Ya, its fine to park on 16th ave as long as your not right next to the stop sign (i think you have to be 30 feet from the sign.) And as for using runway 34, it just depends on what direction the wind is blowing. There is no schedule for using runways. I usually check what runways they are using before i go.
