Okay, lemme make this clear. Baptism isn't the way to heaven, but it's a commitment. Like a promise that is shown in front of friends, family, and peers saying that "I accept Jesus in my heart and am Spiritually born again, washed in the blood of Christ and shall fallow the lord's way."

@healersayain13 lol i know what the verses say, people take them outa contrast, "baptized in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Ghost" means we are sumerged into Chirst that we go willing to learn more about him, and im not mad but let me ask you this if someone got saved then died before they got baptized you really think they wouldnt go to heaven?

Baptisms are public statements, proclamations that we have been washed in the blood of Jesus Christ, they are not what saves us. accepting Jesus is what saves us.

@Slasher1251 Okay, I was not meaning to make you angry. However, I would like to know where it says in the bible that says we don't have to be baptized. I know the Great Commission states that we are to baptize and be baptized.

Matthew 28: 17-20.

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. (You need to look it up, I don't have it all there.)

Jesus said in the bible it is a symbol of Him dieing and raising from the dead, baptism is not needed to get saved and go to heaven God never says believe in Me and get baptised to be saved, He says believe in me and you will be saved! we believe in God thats what saves us, not getin diped into water!
