This is probably the most dark and evil bloodspit by Gene in the 70's that I've ever seen haha kickass!!!

The whole blood spitting thing has absolutely NOTHING to do with Gene's ability to play bass. This is not a bass solo. This was part of the blood spitting "schtick". It was supposed to be scary and evil and frightening which, at that particular time, was all three. The focus was supposed to be on the blood spitting. If you want to hear musicianship, go listen or watch a Yes video or Iron Maiden video or even Rush. But, if you want entertainment and a great group of showmen, keep watching KISS.

It's nothing special, i guess. But there's only one man on this planet, who can make such a great show. No matter, he isn't as good as John Entwistle and company. Gene Simmons is a natural born showman and nothing it changes! A couple of simle noises coming out from gene's amp combined with his unique onstage attitude always brings me a great deal of joy! Keep it up Gene!
