If  US and British troops cannot defeat a ragtag insurgency waged by a lot of armed Moslem hillbillies in Afghanistan, then I dread to think how they would fare in a real war against a real enemy. The Chinese and North Koreans, whose armies are highly motivated, highly disciplined, and highly organised, must be gloating at Western military incompetence in Afghanistan and find it heartening that the combined forces of the Western world cannot beat a lot of lighly armed Moslem peasants.
