them critics can say what they want. i'm stickin' with John. he still got it after all that he went through.

I saw this movie & it was off the hook!! Sly still got it. @ sly's age, he's still a better action hero then these so-called young actors 2 day!!! Sly, bruce willis, Kurt Russel, Arnold S, Harrison F, & few verterans do their own stunts & the action is real not like the younger generation of the so-called action stars that use computer generated effects to make a movie look good!!!

Guitarbandit got it right with your comments. I can't add more to that.
I wonder what would've happened if it was Spielbergs name on Rambo instead of Stallone. Probably called a masterpiece.
I watched the movie twice and I loved it. Will get it to watch at home when it comes out.
Ohh yeah. And I did miss Col Trautman. Would've been nice to have been able to have him so he could send Rambo back home at the end.

what was cut? or the cutting it for the dvd?
I think they are. I believe very few people in America know exactly what's going on over there. On top of that, being an infantry combat vet, I believe it was nessesary in showing what happens on the battlefield. Speilberg does it in Saving Private Ryan and he's considered a genius for showing how it really was. Stallone does it and gets chastised for it. Go figure. Besides, Rambo was more of a war story than Private Ryan, which was more about duty and sacrifice. The violence in Rambo is needed.
