The real issue with SEED and SEED destiny is that theire too romantic. That goes against the idea behind gundam series. Older Gundam actually tried to show the coldness of war and how it affect them.

The SEED and SD characters start good but as their characters develop. they create a need to be loved. Zeta characters, on the other hand, keep their emotional distance cause they knew the consequences that brought to the battlefield.

Thats why SEED and SD annoys the fans that enjoyed UC Gundams.

This song grew on me after like three episodes without skipping the ED. Has that nice 90s rock vibe in it. Well screw that debate below this post, both UC and alt universes have good and bad stuff in them. Why can't we just get along and enjoy the show we like and ignore what we don't instead of adding fuel to a pointless fire?

I don't hate the old, I just accept the entire franchise's bad just as much as it's good. I cut seed some slack because it's difficult for a series to change directors and still feel like familiar to it's roots.

@dancingmadspaghetti Well okay? If you such a big "mecha" fan they why on earth are you defending seed? There's no reason to defend it because nobody likes it. Even the detractor cos-playing Weeaboos who liked it back in 2006 have since moved and they don't even care about it anymore. There is nothing mecha about Seed outside of the fact that there are giant robots in it. Seed was like the 09 Star Trek movie, it was designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator!
