Hi-hats with Sal-bel demo

thats good. I ordered some Saluda mini hats & told them to keep the free bell promo item & to send the SalBell instead to use with my 14" hats.. Glad to hear it works. thanks for the video but wish the mic could have picked up the effect of the Sal-Bell when playing the hats normal

@zash008 I wish I had my mics as well. The camera's mic is pretty bad, and so is the quality after YouTube's video compression. I have mics but not with me (at the moment). I can try in the future to redo my cymbal videos for all of my cymbals. I want people to hear actual recorded Saludas instead of crappy camera-sounding Saludas.

you mean that the only way you hear the effect of the sal bell that you have to have your hats open like how you demo-ed it in the video?

You don't have to. I can hear it when it's closed or partially open as well. It sizzles open or closed.

got Saluda mini hats ina whileback now. I tried the "salbel" in my regular hats & the mini hats. Turning the Salbel upside down & right ide up. I am sorry to say that I really dont hear any difference in the hihat sound closed or open. There is really not enough effect from the device to be worth going out of your way to buy one.

Nice effect, but I think you meant to say 3.5 inch Sal-Bell.
