I saw this guy live in Madison a couple of years ago. It was like seeing the reincarnation of James Brown.

no Seun inherited his talent of Fela!!! LOL even though Fela was inspired by James brown and other funk and jazz artists he also wanted to distinguish himself from James Brown. Watch the Fela Broadway play and listen to his interviews. He has afrobeat a unique style. i love it and funk is good too and jazz. I love how Seun's carrying the torch for Fela. Then Femi's son will do the same after he retires.

I saw them in Madison about a year ago. Shit what a great show. He's the James Brown of today, but better.
