Love the part where they walk through the market and she grabs the back of his sweater. You know that she realizes that she has fallen for him ... great music.

yes, what a great, authentic scene--said it all without words. whoever cast Jane in this part was brilliant.

YOU DID A GREAT JOB.........
with this "Klute" video. I should have said something
earlier, considering i've watched it 20 times or so !!
One of my alltime favorite films - they really dont make
interesting human dramas like this today - and all the
Michael Small music fits it like a glove. Sometimes a film
comes together and they "nail it" and it becomes a
masterpiece. I JUST CANT BELIEVE - that this was
40 years ago !!!! THANK YOU for this great video !!!!

The first few times I saw KLUTE on tv I always missed the opening credits and guessed that the music score might've been composed by either by Lalo Schifrin or Jerry Goldsmith since they were both brilliant at writing haunting, scary dissonant music. And jazzy love themes. The music of KLUTE sounds similar to what you'd expect from either composer...
So I was really surprised when I finally discovered the music of KLUTE was by Michael Small. Great score!

It's from the soundtrack to the film by the late Michael Small.Various themes edited into one.
