  • An Act of State.

  • @thkelly67 , so "economic freedom" i.e. Banker bailouts, credit default swaps, controlled media is the real solution. Herman Cain are the real "economic freedom" figures? Peppers is talking about economic justice, and real control back to the people..since the people's taxes pay for all this mess anyway, the defense, the bailouts, all taxes coming from the middle class, as it was intended from the start anyway.

  • @thkelly67 Just because you / we don't understand or can't identify a better way than the way we have now doesn't mean that way doesn't exist, or is impossible. It starts with ACTION...stop contributing to the false way we have now and building your community, starting with your immediate family and moving outwards,. Good luck.

  • Mr. Pepper is an american hero. May God bless him and his descendents forever. Hotep.

  • So the same murderous government that Mr Pepper condemns is somewhow going to be transformed into an advocate for the poor? Talk about being naive. MLK was right about the Vietnam War but his support for Great Society welfare schemes was misguided. Just how is this redistribution to be accomplished? It would require violence and coercion just as it did in the Russia and China and would enthrone a new oligarchy. The solution to poverty is genuine economic freedom.

  • Revolution is the only way to turn this around now. Pepper is right it has gone on so long that the next step is fascism. Throw out all the incumbents and send a clear message. Stop the virus of corruption and avarice that has spread throughout our government. They have bailed out banks and corporations that caused the current economic crisis and left us to fend for ourselves.

  • 3425 views? That's all? Wow... Shocking. Then again, not. :(

  • wow

  • I think that minisight2000 has a point to a certain degree. North America is so complacent and pliant that we might as well be a pack of cowards. However, anyone who's heard Michael Parenti, Antonia Juhasz, Cornel West, Naomi Klein, Mike Ruppert, Dr. Rima Libow, CIA veteran Ray McGovern and the Hon. Cynthia McKinney (just to name a few) speak knows that not everyone's going quietly. There are still some heroes left. Let's not let their wisdom and sacrifice go to waste.
