  • Hey wingnut ...

"I think that those people [greenhouse deniers] are in such a tiny, tiny minority now with their point of view [that] they're almost like the ones who still believe that the moon landing was staged in a movie lot in Arizona, and those who believe the EARTH IS FLAT. That demeans them a little bit, but it's not that far off."

    -- Al Gore, Nobel Laureate

    interviewed by Lesley Stahl

  • So true. It's funny to hear idiots like rush limbaugh explain that the World's temperature was stable for thousands of years, but that Global Warming isn't caused by man, even though the Globe has warmed higher than ever before, all in the last 60 years, which happens to coincide exactly with the Industrial Revolution. Go figure?

limbaugh also thinks Britney Spears is a drug addict, but discounts his own years of Hydrocodone abuse and addiction.

Sensible thought is not this guy's realm.

  • My opinion is that you sound like a true moron. Ignorance is bliss.

    Be well dopey.

  • So, what you are saying is that if we reduce our consumption of gas because of supply and demand, this will make it snow in New Orleans more often which in effect will cause global freezing? I am in favor of using more gas. You are in the minority and therefore we do not make policy based on your opinion. Global warming is an opinion, just like my opinion is that you are full of crap. I think you and Gore's hot air you are spewing are the only warming taking place.

  • Have you noticed that there is a corresponding 30 to 40% reduction in the use of gasoline and the resultant pollutants by the number one consumer of petroleum over the last two years, America?

This reduction has helped substantially with the environment. It's a savings of billions and billions of gallons not being combusted into the environment.

It translates into helping the problem, not increasing it.

  • If there was no question about it, you'd already be taxing me for it, huh? Bullshit, all bullshit. I had snow down here in New Orleans 3 weeks ago, how do you explain that? I guess each snowflake was a tiny molecule of global warming that got so hot that it froze.

  • Global Warming is Man-Made. There is no question about it.

You are trying to convince me that you alone, or in tandem with rush limbaugh, have it right, and the entire scientific community has it wrong? Not likely. In fact, NOT.

Try looking at the reality. The Industrial Revolution is the start of significant Global Warming where temperatures surpassed, in just 60 years, all record high temperatures over several hundred thousand years. Core samples don't lie, limbaugh does. You are wrong.

  • Wrong again, my friend. It has nothing to do with man. In fact, they ought to call it solar warming. Why don't you liberals want to put a sunglass on the sun to keep it from causing heat?

  • Oh, and Global Warming is not caused entirely by big oil. It is mostly caused by deforestation, agriculture and livestock. Methane gas is the leading contributor to Global Warming. However, the amount of CO2 caused by factories, coal burning, automobiles and myriad other man-made causes is destroying the ozone layer and contributing heavily to Global Warming.

Put ten running cars in a garage and check the temperature in 12 hours. Global Warming IS man-made, it's inarguable.

  • You are in the minority, dipshit. If global warming were truly being causes by big oil, then why does the democratic party want to tax them instead of shutting them down? Why? Because they can make money off them. Taxes don't solve the so-called problem of global warming though, so they will make money and kill the planet instead of saving the planet. What a bunch of bullcrap.
