Amazing scene where Carter tries to catch the Newcastle mob "spokeman" in the Oxford Galleries Ballroom ; there a young crowd of dollies dances upon an uptempo rendition of "30 60 90" by Jim Hawkins Showband.This track comes from the great lp "Everything is Beautiful" recorded live at...Blackpool where Hawkins was once resident (after his residence at the OG in Newcastle).

Cheers, I've long wondered who it was playing this and I swore up and down that it was a cover of "30-60-90". This has boggled my mind for nearly 20 years!

J'aime beaucoup cette scène, bon alors c'est la bande à Alan Hawkshaw derrière ? Faut avouer que ça sonne illustre, non ? Anyway ce morceau n'est pas sur le LP. Les nanas sur la piste de danse auraient pu faire un effort quand même... Enfin bon elles devaient toucher le smic ;-)
Ce film reste mythique pour moi. Michael Caine y est excellent et la BO un chef d'oeuvre surtout le générique. Merci pour le montage.
