Excellent. I love all these details.
I didn't know that ごめんなさい had been diluted. I thought it was more like `forgive me' and stronger than すみません. It's always a pleasure to learn - can't trust the books!

I only understood that these were phrases, and not just words, when I saw the kanji. Then the use of は as a particle made sense.
I'm looking forward to hearing about よろしく
