Well, since Kirby Super Star Ultra came out, they decided to hide King Dedede's face in an iron mask so he can beat Kirby again in the minigame " Revenge of the king" which is part 2 and part 1 is "Spring Breeze" when he was defeated once by Kirby.

not only that, he was armed with the upgraded hammer to pulverize Kirby once and for all, but he once again failed to get Kirby of his back, so now he's in shame..... and finds somewhere else to live... ending the series.
