"Messin' with the Kid" Newports reunion performance August 2006

The Newports out of Thornton Township High School in Harvey, IL performed together from 1961 to 1966. Bryan Salvage (guitar, vocals), Bill Bielby (bass), Tom Donlinger (drums), and Terry Tritt (sax) reunited in August 2006 to perform together for the first time in 40 years. We were joined by Jim Nyeholt (keyboards), also out of TTHS, who performed with Tom in Rotary Connection and Aorta. On harmonica is Mickey Silvers, who performs with Bill in Thin Vitae. Helping out on guitar, also out of TTHS is James "Ang" Anderson of Chicago Kingsnakes (check out his CD, "Blues Island").
