Rooney Mara - surely.

Unfortunately, her best scene in that film was a graphic, horrific rape - so I don't think they could include that in the Oscars ceremony! - nor the other one where she gets her revenge, which is equally brutal. But she was brilliant in both scenes, and indeed the rest of the film.

@Eleinna i loved her in the movie. but her winning the oscar is definitely a LONG shot. if she does win over Meryl Streep, it'll probably be the biggest surprise of the night.

@TheAwardsTracker The nominees are out now. Surprised Tilda Swinton didn't make the list!!!! Seen bits of "We need to talk about Kevin" and thought she was good!!!!

@linedanccelts Meryl Streep will DEFINITELY take home the Oscar. No doubt about that. Viola Davis is a good actress, but she should be thankful that she got a nomination.
