No sound. This is a video showing how easy it is for the rider when a passenger mounts and dismounts. Although it certainly can be done with the rider sitting down, I find it easier to stand up. It's so much easier in fact, that it doesn't even require hands to steady the bike! The 650's low center of gravity likely contributes.
Rider: 200lbs, 32" inseam
Passenger: 140lbs, 5'6"

  • Just bought an Exec because it's hard to throw my leg over the Goldwing. Wish it was as easy for my wife to mount it.

  • Hmm, I didn't realize that it would be different on a Burgman than a Goldwing.

  • such a nice color, and great to see you wearing protection.

  • Thanks! I got lucky that the time that I was ready to buy was the one year they offered that color. It's also only on the Executive model. ATGATT!

  • I've been trying for 4 years to get my wife to try mounting this way. Finally found your video today and had her watch it. Her reaction was "Sure, she's a lot younger then I am!" BTW: My wife is 75 yrs young. She struggles so much getting on the bike it's embarassing!

  • go ride it..

  • Nice video.Helped me show my wife how to mount the Burgman.Thank you.

  • I tried that with my cousin - I almost tilted - maybe its because I´, 170cm 70 kg and she is 180 caryying 134kg,,,,,:o)

  • awesome! good job... this is excatly what I told my friends how to do this way... excatly same! but on vespa gts is little different...

wow gears all over on you guys.. .. me hardly :-0

  • Besides being taller, my 1500 has the speakers besides the swing out armrests to deal with. The passenger has to get on first unless they are a tiny little person. Add to that my backrest and it isn't easy for either of us.
