This month you can see the Andromeda Galaxy, the Milky Way and Jupiter. And for Halloween a late night treat, Mars!

  • I thought Jupiter was in the South East. If Jupiter is in the west then what is the giant star in the South East at around 6:30? Please reply.

  • Where are you located? (aka N or S hemisphere?)

  • Them two people at the introduction. Are they meant to be aliens? Sorry I'm just curious. :) & we can see mars? Cool! I can't wait!

  • Nope, just a parent and child looking up at the sky ;-) It's the International Year of Astronomy logo.

  • I think that you are teaching me like never done before anyone in this matter. Thanks

  • That's great! Thanks and keep listening!

  • its gona kick milkyways candy ass

  • @lphrpkISBACK

Jupiter (or any other planet, for that matter) "is" nowhere! They are not fixed, they are on rotating orbits around the sun (just like the Earth, but with different speed due to their different distances), so their "positions" are constantly changing! Like cars on the highway. Always in motion.

  • when this galaxy get closer in some billions years, i bet will be an amazing sight in the skies..... even though people will no longer be in this planet

  • Hahahahahaa!!! It's 2010 and we're JUST fine! PPL, there is no armaggeddon in 2012 or whatever other year they say and they have no proof to confirm it!Bullshit!

  • planet and life in Andromeda galaxy is that possible??

  • I want to see this gallaxy with my own eyes! Is it possible from South H. ?

  • Fantastic work, I always wondered about those mysterious stars! keep up the good work

  • pm.

  • The moon, maybe?

Just kidding. It might be Spica, where are you located? Do you mean 6:30 am or pm?
