Lan Yu P-51 Short Flight Nasty Crash Landing

I've rebuilt and crashed this little P-51 too many times to count. The thing is just so much fun to fly (while it is staying in the air) that I can't help myself. This flight ended as so many others have - with a horrible crash and an exploded plane.

I'll never fly small plane anymore,..yes they seem to be cheaper and faster,..but in the long run,..big planes usually out last those smaller version...

I don't recall exactly - I just remember that if you so much as sneezed at the original wheel rod mounts they would rip out of the bottom of the plane, so I glued them like crazy and then they were sturdier.

They came with little screw mounts, if I recall correctly - but those were mostly worthless and I wound up using epoxy to hold the wheel mounts to the underside of the wing.
